St Andrew's Senior High Youth Group sells two wonderful items which make great gifts.Fairly traded olive oil from the Holy Land and organic, shade grown coffee from Pura Vida.

Profits help fund the SHYG Mission trip. When you purchase these items you support the service work of our youth and you can know you are supporting small farmers, their families and their land.

Available to purchase during coffee hour after the 10 o'clock service.

In an effort to be a more environmentally sustainable congregation, to improve communications, and to reduce postage costs, we will soon begin offering parishioners the option of receiving many church mailings by email. The Messenger of Allah: A Brief Introduction to Islam

Curious or confused about Islam? You're not alone! Although Islam, which means "submission" in Arabic, has become a household word in the west, a basic knowledge of Muslim
history, theology and tradition is harder to come by. Consequently, in our Christian Learning series this February, we will explore the basic contours of Islam in three sessions
on February 5th, February 12th and February 19th. A first session will focus on the life of the Prophet and the emergence of Islam, a second will explore the Quran and the main
theological tenets of Islam, and a third will look at the relationship between Sunnis, Shiites, Sufis and other important expressions of Islam in the modern world.

t. Andrew's is an Episcopal Church where Christians come together to share a rich heritage of worship, to learn and teach the Word of God, to grow in faith, and to love and serve others. It is a community of men, women and children who seek to follow Christ in all that they are and all that they do.

Primary Mission Goals:

  • To provide a range of worship opportunities sufficient to meet the changing spiritual needs of the community
  • To provide spiritual and pastoral support to nurture parishioners in all stages of life
  • To promote educational programs that strengthen people of all ages in their understanding of faith
  • To enable as many parishioners as possible to participate in outreach programs that help people in the greater community

Special Goals: Exploring Our Covenant:

  • Ministry for and with youth and children
  • Community-building within our parish
  • Outreach to the wider community
  • Adult Formation for faith and ministry in the world

The 1,800 members of St. Andrew's Church are residents of Wellesley, Natick, Dover, Sherborn, Needham, and other surrounding communities. Our parish is part of the Diocese of Massachusetts comprising about 200 congregations covering the eastern one-third of the state. The Right Reverend M. Thomas Shaw and the Right Reverend Bud Cederholm and the Right Reverend Gayle Harris are our bishops. Our diocese is one of 117 in the Episcopal Church, which is one of 38 provinces in the 70 million member Anglican Communion worldwide.

From Sunday morning to Saturday afternoon, God's work is being done in this exciting faith community. Whatever your interests, abilities, needs, or energy level, there is a place at St. Andrew's to use your God-given gifts.
