Proportionate-Giving

"Proportionate giving" is the proportion of our personal resources, including time, talents and money, that we commit to do the Lord's work. We make this commitment in response to the love God has shown us through His many blessings, and especially through His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. In this way we offer "ourselves, our souls, and our bodies."
All that we are, and all that we have, comes from God, still belongs to God and is best used for God's glory.

From that perspective, the Biblical standard by which we measure our offerings is the Tithe (10%). This worksheet is designed as a means to determine:
(1) your current level of pledged financial support to St. Andrew's, and
(2) three options for considering next year's pledge.
This worksheet is intended for personal use with prayerful consideration in the privacy of your home. It should not be returned to the church. On the reverse side is an easy reference chart with percentages (from 1% to 10%) of annual income already calculated for you.
1. To find your current level of support to St. Andrew's, divide your annual pledge by your annual income. (An "average" pledge is calculated on the left as an example.)
