Worship
The worship of God is at the heart of our corporate life at St. Andrew’s Church. As followers of Christ we come together to hear the Word and to celebrate the sacraments as frequently and regularly as possible. All baptized Christians are welcome at the altar to receive communion. Everyone is also welcome to come to the altar for a priestly blessing.
Holy Eucharist and Morning Prayer services are offered at St. Andrew’s each week. Other opportunities for worship occur throughout the year to celebrate special occasions in the church year. These special services are always publicized in the weekly worship leaflet and in the monthly newsletter, The CALL. In addition, Holy Eucharist is celebrated at the North Hill retirement community in Needham on the first Thursday of each month at 10:00
a.m.
On Sundays when there is Holy Eucharist at 10:00, children five years and older join their parents in Church after the Peace. On
one Sunday of the month, all parishioners five years and older worship together.
When the Church School is in session, classes begin at 9:45 a.m. for all children, pre-school through ninth grade.
Nursery care is always available for babies and toddlers at the 10:00 a.m. worship service every Sunday from mid-September to mid-June.
During July and August, St. Andrew’s parishioners gather with members of other Protestant churches in Wellesley for joint worship services at 10:00

On Sundays from mid-September through mid-June the Holy Eucharist is offered at 5:00 p.m. in the Chapel.
